Rosane speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. She works in advertising and tourism. She lived various places including Europe, South America and USA. Rosane used to play golf; she can arrange golf outings in two of Rio's clubs, Itanhangá Golf Club and Gavea Golf Club.

Ipanema
Located in the southern region of the city of Rio de Janeiro between wealthy Leblon, surf-driven Arpoador and Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (on the north), Ipanema is the most fashionable beach in Rio and the neighborhood has played its own role in Rio's culture.
Ipanema began as an adventure in land development in 1894, undergoing an extraordinary real-estate, high-rise boom and population explosion from the 1950s, and becoming later in the 60s the city’s bohemian, liberal neighborhood. Intellectuals and poets would gather at Ipanema’s sidewalks, mostly at Rua Farme de Amoedo and surrounding streets to philosophize over the movements of the decade. The widely known song Garota de Ipanema (The Girl from Ipanema) was composed by two of the prominent members of this romantic wave of thinking, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes.
After having somehow defined the modern carioca spirit –laid-back for some, irreverent or independent for others- nowadays residential Ipanema continues to be an extremely lively neighborhood, the happening center of sophistication. Along with trendy boutiques, shops and all kind of good stores located along Rua Visconde de Pirajá and within the number of transverse streets, Ipanema has art galleries, theaters, outdoor playgrounds, high-end gyms, many restaurants, sushi bars and cafes.
Watching the sunset in Ipanema beach is just energizing and inspiring. While Pedra do Arpoador lays in the east end, Morro Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers Mountain) stands as a sentinel on the west. All along the beach’s promenade, outlined by Avenida Vieira Soto, runners, joggers, cyclists and also those who stop for a coconut drink or a spirited caipirinha (cachaça-based Brazilian drink) enjoy one of Rio’s most spectacular natural settings.
